AERIAL VIEWS - BASICS DONE

Very intense week in the “hot seat” … Will and Tom have the highest standards which I very much appreciate… my training with Imrat Khan was a very good prep for this kind of music making… Had a whole lot of fun and some intense tracking to get all twelve tunes finishihed inside of one week… it was a tight schedule but all the guitar rhythm parts went down in three days leaving one day, Friday, to place the melody guitar tracks. Friday turned into a 12 hour day in the studio straight… we got four finished acoustic guitar tracks melody and solo tracks done and completed the scratch Melody tracks for the others… Funny thing my scratch tracks always wind up as finished tracks for my records…

Next is three weeks of prep before I meet the band in Woodstock, NY for overdubs at Dreamland studios… all the recorded music from our basics will be sent to everyone along with the updated chord charts… we have five days at Dreamland. Coordination and timing is Between Woodstock, San Fransisco and Los Angeles is critical to make sure all parts are done before we leave. To be continued…
