PREMIERED: EAGLE MOUNTAIN ORCHESTRAL SUITE

Eagle Mountain Suite Premiered and Performed in Entirety

On March 8, 2020 my orchestral suite titled Eagle Mountain was premiered in its entirety by the University City Orchestra at Desmond Hall, Washington University School of Music, Saint Louis, MO. Thanks to the efforts of dave Seigal and Maestro Leon Burke, we had two successful rehearsals and a final performance inside the beautiful Desmond Hall. Written for full Orchestra and two harps, the score features three compositions from my 2016 release On Eagle Mountain; Eagle Mountain, Colorado Missouri and Moon Song.

The interlude piece, Colorado Missouri, was performed in trio by Benn Reece on soprano sax, Willhelm Hombract on double bass and myself on acoustic guitar. This was a huge undertaking and milestone as a composer and orchestrator.

he works are highly descriptive in nature and reflective of a natural environment provoking, inner reflection visual activation and a sense of overall well being in the listener.

This was followed by a Bach To The Future set with orchestra and then Ptah Williams performing his rendition of American In Paris with full orchestra as well.
