Open Waters CD was mixed sound shaper Tom Eaton this past week at Universal Noise Studios. I spent 4 amazing days in Newburyport, Mass. on the Northeast coast in the middle of winter. The addition of Steve Bankuti on drums took an already soaring CD over the top.

The album concept is based on the elements of water in particular and the myth of Atlantis in general. The titles of tunes are centered on nautical and oceanic themes and follow the potential journey of remnant survivors journeying by sea to a new land with or without new beginnings. Although this could translate into any archetypical journey.
